These are 2 brand new SPI pistons for the Polaris 600 2 cylinder models. These are the original 77.25 mm size & at the  end of this listing is the list of Snowmobiles that they will fit.. The pistons inc rings, clips & pin. I order these items from my supplier when they are paid for. I get the parts in 1-2 days then I send them the same day to you. This listing will be up during the summer months & pistons may be delayed a bit as manufacturers are a bit slower on Snowmobile parts in the summer. This is the description of the piston from the manufacturer’s web site. Hard Anodized Crowns: Pistons that are not anodized have a hardness of HRB 60, and pistons that are anodized have a hardness of HRB 105. This makes SPI pistons 75% stronger than non-anodized pistons. This increases heat resistance, minimizes piston expansion and contraction and reduces the coefficient of friction.
Hypereutictic Cast: A hypereutectic cast piston is a piston with increased silicon content. The end result is a piston that has an increased hardness, is more resistant to wear and has an increased ability to withstand higher cylinder temperatures, pressure and detonation. This helps reduce expansion from heat, makes the piston more durable and resistant to wear and allows the piston to run tighter clearances.
