The 2nd picture is my YTM 225DX 1984 that I just finished restoring, I have this shift lever on my 225. The lever goes on with ease, once the lever is on & the pinch bolt is tight you will have to grab the lever by the rubber foot pad & pull the lever out about 1/2″ so it will clear the pull start cover. The lever then works perfectly & functions as it should,
