I offer this quiet core simply as an option to the originals that are all discontinued. The center of this core is smaller compared to the original core, it makes the 250R a little quieter & still allows the unit to run properly. I dropped 2 sizes on my main jet on my 1986 ATC 250R to compensate for the smaller ID.
This core is the one that says NEW in my 1st picture, the one next to it is from my 1985 ATC 250R.
