If you have an aftermarket Keihin carb on your 250R from the 26mm-44mm size this cable will work for you.

 It threads in to the stock thumb throttle & it has no cap on the end. 

I have ran this cable on my 250R’s with Keihin 33,34,35,36,38,39,41 MM carbs & it works great. 

I have another cable listed for models running the Mikuni carbs.
